May I invite guests to use the club facilities?
Yes. It is the intent of Ballyneal to accommodate guests without inconvenience to the members, in accordance with club rules and regulations. The club reserves the right to limit and/or otherwise restrict the number of guests permitted from time to time.
Who is eligible to obtain membership privileges?
Membership is available by invitation. Only the club may extend invitations.
How do I become a member and how does the membership application process work?
There are only a limited number of memberships remaining in the Club. A prospective member desiring a membership at Ballyneal will have 30 days after their visit and personal interview to act upon their invitation to join; they must deliver to the club a fully completed and signed Application for Membership Privileges, Membership Agreement, the required membership deposit and applicable club fees. Each applicant must be sponsored by two existing members in good standing, or by a designee of the club.
After receiving the Application for Membership Privileges, the Membership Agreement, the required membership deposit or initiation fee, and club fees, the evaluation will be conducted with the intent and purpose of securing members with compatible social, vocational and professional attainment from all segments of the community. All applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their interest in Ballyneal, financial responsibility and compatibility with other club members. Any acceptance or rejection of an application will be in the sole discretion of the club, provided that candidates are evaluated without regard to race, religion, creed, color, gender, sexual preference, national origin or physical disability.
If the Application for Membership Privileges is acted upon favorably by the club, the club will notify the applicant immediately and invite the applicant to membership. If the Application for Membership Privileges is not acted upon favorably, the club will immediately return to the applicant the membership deposit or initiation fee and club fees previously paid to the club, without interest.
